San Antonio de Padua Church

“Actions speak louder than words; let your words teach, and your actions speak!” The words of our patronal Miracle- Worker are the way of Pallotti’s pastoral approach; who prophetically understood the Church as a constant communion between all the Religious and Laity. A Church with the “smell of its sheep”, it’s immersed in the center of the neighborhood, and is the pulse that beats all its spiritual and corporal apostoaltes.

These works of mercy are also accompanied by a dynamic youth, whose involvement gives new life, and a spirit of freshness to the Gospel. Likewise, the lay catechists and volunteers - together with Pastor Fr. Sanju Pani SAC - form a team always at the service of their neighbors; neighbors that Fr. Sanju knows one by one, door by door. In the words of Pope Francis,

“These communities can be settings where they feel that it is possible to cultivate precious relationships.”

Our Lady of Peace & Good Voyage

“Mary found the courage to say “yes”. She found the strength to give life to God’s dream. The angel is asking the same thing of each of you, and of me. Do you want this dream to come alive? Do you want to make it take flesh with your hands, with your feet, with your gaze, with your heart? Do you want the Father’s love to open new horizons for you and bring you along paths never imagined or hoped for, dreamt or expected, making our hearts rejoice, sing and dance?” (Pope Francis)

By the boldness of their shepherd, so too did the sheep say yes. As Fr. Sanju began to see the Church become more full, he called a meeting and laid out what seemed to be an impossible proposal: a plan to rebuild the church. “At first,” shares parishioner Rhodora Fernandez, “we were hesitant. Where could we get the money, considering that such a large amount of funds were to be involved? But Fr. Sanju taught us to have faith, that all is possible with God.”
